Green Day - Boulevard Of Broken Dreams (Milton Keynes 2005)

Since I discovered this video section, I wanted to upload a video that I recorded. So here is a video from a Green Day concert I went to last year in Milton Keyens on the 18th of June 2005. Next time I go somewhere with my camera I'm going to record something cool and put it on the blog.

Pearl Jam - Alive (Pinkpop Festival, Holland, 1992)

Pearl Jam - Alive (Pinkpop 92)

This is one of Pearl Jam's best ever performances of Alive. If your internet connection will allow, then have a look.

  • Eva's Birthday Party (11/06/2006)

We celebrated Eva's birthday yesterday, and it turned out to be a very nice day. We all had a lot of fun, thanks Eva!

I put up loads of photos, and if you feel that you look really bad on a specific picture, please let me know what the filename is and I'll remove it from the site. Please do this only in extreme cases.

Please take a minute and leave a note on the little OGGIX ShoutBox and take part in my poll.

I thought I'd put a permanent link on the site as well to hopefully give Manny a bit more advertising.

    Eva's 30th (11/06/2006)

Everybody's trying to cool down after the blazing hot trip to get there.

Lenka and, I'm-not-even-going-to-try-to-spell-her-name, her Czech friend. Please let me know in the comments icon at the end of this post.

The best photo of the day.

I have to try to get myself in here at some stage.

    Katka and Christopher.

The most amazing, chocolaty birthday cake.

Eva couldn't have asked for a better day.

The wine seemed to flo like, erm, wine.

    Beer (Belgium)

I've been thinking for a while that as I have so many photos of the beers that I've sampled across Europe (and in SA of course), that I should put them all together on this site.

This little mr has 11.5% alcohol.

    Isn't this just beautiful?

    A light French-Belgian beer.

OK, by now you think I'm nuts, taking all these stupid photos of beerglasses. But if I didn't, I would have forgotten all about them by now.

    Beer (Belgium)

This one really is the devil as the name suggests.

One of the best beers ever!

    Beautiful

After a evening with a few litres of Leffe, I now prefer to stay away from it for a while.

    Beer (France)

These two photos were taken in Paris. I cant remeber the name of the one in the first photo (the one with my brother), but it was the first taste I had of proper beer after suffering through more than two years of british "beer".

    Pop-ups

I've noticed that since I started getting more hits to the site and I'm more actively posting that there is an anoying pop-up that loads with this site from time to time. I did not intend for it to be there. I'll see what I can do to get rid of it. If anybody knows what I can do to get rid of it, please let me know via e-mail.

    Beer (S.A.)

    Good old Amstel!!!

This was the first time I used my Belgian beerstein and it took 3 bottles to fill it up to perfection.

This is where the whole Mookie thing comes from.

    Czech Republic - December 2005

I thought I'd upload a few photos from my last trip to the Czech Republic, since there are a few people, mostly family, who might like to see where they will be going in October. It wont be as snowy as it was in December, but it certainly wont be 't-shirt, shorts and sandles' weather either!

A church in the town square of Tábor.

    Another typical Czech church.

An example of the language problem that faces all the South Africans.

A nice little neigbourhood, very cold!

This is what the countryside looks like in parts between Prague and Tábor.

Wenceslav square. It's one of the first things I saw in Prague.

Something you won't see in South Africa!

    Old town square.

Still Old Town square. I bought Lenka's temporary engagement ring there
    .

The photo's a little blurry, but It's a nicely decorated street in Prague.

    Prague.

The snow brought out the detail in this group of statues.

If you remember anythig about the movie Tripple X (xXx), you'll recognize this bridge.

Lenka, feeling very happy in the snow.

I can't remember what this structure is for.

This reminded me of Venice and Bruges.

One of many pieces on Prague's main bridge.

I just couldn’t resist Italian Gelato ice cream.

The chapel, situated on the hill near Prague castle.

This is a (mostly) residential area. I was suprised how many people live in big blocks of flats (like you can see in this photo).
